Why do we call this a “Howdy!” page instead of a “Contact” or “Questions” page? SPAM. That’s why.

Spambots search the internet for website pages with “contact” or similar words in the title. When they find those pages, they submit the forms with spam messages and flood website owners’ mailboxes. So we call this our “Howdy!” page, to prevent some of that mess.
